How we got started
Environmental issues have been around longer than our generation (Gen Z) has been alive. However, it isn't taken as seriously as it needs to be politically by the generations before us. So, it is up to our generation to help combat these problems.
Why now?
As the saying goes, "the best time to act was 20 years ago but the second-best time is today" in other words it does no good to dwell on what we could have done as a society. In the face of the crisis that is global warming as long as you get started you can still help make a difference. Based in the state of Virginia, we work in compliance with four of the United Nations sustainable development goals with our main focus being SDG 7 attempting to secure renewable energy as the global primary source of energy by 2030.

About our founder...
Benjamin Aiken IV has always been interested in organizing the people around him to enrich his community. From community fundraising in elementary school to starting clubs in high school. He never stops wanting to help make change.
Regarding the founding of COSAAT to help combat environmental issues he says " Unfortunately, there is no pathos I can give to inspire hope in people. I simply saw an issue, and I wanted to help fix it.".

We are still looking for people to fill out our head team but that doesn't stop us from making things happen!
